But yogis say that yoga is not just a means of physical fitness but through it we can also achieve mental peace and inner happiness.
Through this book, Yogi has revealed those secrets of enlightenment which have been lost somewhere in this westernized world. By reading this book you will get guidance to achieve inner peace, happiness and satisfaction.
• Why you should take special care of your diet

• How to create joy and enthusiasm within yourself.
1. The source of never-ending satisfaction lies within us.
In this era full of competition, we often see that many people are not able to experience happiness and satisfaction even after sitting on the heights of success, then what is the reason that even after being successful, they do not feel happy about that success? Can't convince? This is because forgetting ourselves and focusing on success is effective but only for some time because after achieving the success for which we forget ourselves, we realize what we have done for it. Lost it. To explain this, there is a story very popular in India, the author has also described that story in his book.
The story goes like this, once a bird told the bull that my wings have become weak, now I cannot sit on the tree and enjoy the natural views. The bull, while explaining the solution to his problem, said that you can feed my dung every day. Eat a little, this will give you strength and you will be able to fly. The bird did the same and followed the path told by the bull and she flew and sat on the tree. The farmer's attention was drawn towards the bird by its chirping sound, seeing such a healthy and juicy bird, he killed it and ate it.
Same thing happens with humans also, sometimes we go to any extent to achieve success but the result is not always good.
To achieve true satisfaction, we should try to see the world from our inner perspective, but often people see the world from an external perspective and keep searching for their happiness in this external world.
For example, authors say that when we read a book
So according to most of the people that book is in our hands but in reality the light falling on the book is creating the image of that book in your eyes, so the book you are reading is inside you.
The author says that it is very important to understand the principle that true happiness and satisfaction reside within us.
2. You can give a new twist to your life experiences as per your own because your thinking and your emotions are driven by you.
Have you ever noticed that why sometimes hugging someone gives us relief and on the other hand we feel suffocated when someone hugs us, the author says that in both the cases the work is the same but the feelings and thinking are different. We feel happy when hugged by someone close to us and feel suffocated when hugged by someone we dislike, this example proves that we ourselves control our feelings and it is completely based on our thinking. depends on
Our brain can give different reactions to the same task, depending on how we feel about the person in front of us. All these emotions are a part of our brain and by having control over them, we can live our life as per our wish. But the unfortunate thing is that many people take the help of alcohol and drugs to feel these feelings, whereas the author says that we do not need these, instead of these external useless things, we find happiness in our own body. The fillers can produce ANU, that ANU is a chemical called Anandamide which is produced in our body and it makes us feel happiness and joy. Its effect is more than that of opium intoxication, to get maximum quantity of it in our body, we just need to do some exercise and make ourselves strong to face every problem. For example, whenever we get a very difficult task or you get stuck in some problem, then make yourself realize that everything is fine and you will do this work easily.
Yogis and Sadhus of our country have mastered the art of creating this Anu within themselves through meditation and sadhana, hence they enjoy immense happiness and satisfaction.
3. Most of the people choose the paths of life due to emotions, whereas we should choose these paths in full consciousness.
Most people have a habit that they do not want to forget the thing that makes them feel pain and sorrow and keep repeating its story in their mind again and again. For example, if our relationship with someone is broken, we keep making ourselves sad by remembering it for months and years.
Many people have such a habit that only painful stories of life keep playing in their mind. While our attitude towards life should be positive, life is about forgetting what has happened and adopting a new path, the author says that instead of making our today bad with our bad past, it is better to take inspiration from it and make our tomorrow better.
The author has told that he knows a girl who learned a lot from the bitter past of her life and started on the path of achieving satisfaction. The girl and her brother were separated from their family by the Nazi forces during World War II. They took him to the railway station and asked him to board the train. Meanwhile, his brother lost one of his shoes while playing. In anger, he hit his brother a lot and said bad things to him, but that was the last day when he saw his brother. Later only the news of his death came. Instead of being shattered by this shock, he learned that life is very short, you never know when you are meeting someone for the last time, so meet everyone with a smile so that you do not regret later. This learning changed the girl's life and this change gave her a feeling of inner satisfaction.
4. Responsibilities further increase your freedom.
When we think about responsibilities, the first thing that comes to our mind is that responsibilities bind us, hence people are afraid of taking responsibilities. But on the contrary the author says that responsibilities increase the options in our life. To explain this as an example, the author says that suppose you have to go on a world tour and you are alone without any responsibilities, then you have only one option, but if you have the responsibility of the family, then you have many options as you can choose them. You can also take your friends with you, or stay at home with them or go alone, giving you the freedom to choose from so many options.
Instead of getting rid of responsibilities, it is better to learn to fulfill them because it is not necessary that responsibilities increase your burden, but having responsibilities can make a person more disciplined and take right decisions. The true identity of life comes only from responsibilities and without responsibilities life becomes directionless.
The matter of fulfilling responsibilities is not limited only to the family, but we also have many responsibilities towards the country and society. When a natural disaster like a storm or flood occurs in any corner of the country, instead of sitting idle, we can try to find ways to help. Even if you are unable to find a source of help even after trying hard, at least you will have peace in your heart for trying. That's why the author says that there is more satisfaction in being satisfied with responsibilities than in the fatigue of trying to fulfill them.
5.For enlightenment it is necessary for body, mind, emotions and energy to work in the same direction.
Just as teamwork is very important in many areas of life, in the same way it is very important for all the organs in our body to work together so that all the functions in our body can run smoothly.
Therefore, the author says that to attain knowledge, it is necessary for our body, energy, emotions and our brain to work together in the same direction because the energy generated from the confluence of all these will take us towards true knowledge. To explain it in a simpler way, there is a story prevalent in our Indian literature.
According to this story, once a group of four yogis were passing through a forest. One of them believed in physical yoga, the other in the power of conscience and mind, the third believed in the power of the yoga chakras present in the body, while the fourth believed that the most important thing was to conquer one's emotions. Everyone considered their own path as the only path to attain knowledge. He was passing through the forest when suddenly heavy rain and storm came and he took shelter in an old temple. That temple was very old and had no walls, so to save themselves from the storm, all four of them gathered near the idol of God and held each other's hands, then suddenly God himself appeared there. Yogis were surprised to see him. One asked, if we have been worshiping you all our life, then how come today Lord, you did not give us your darshan. God smiled and said, today you have united all the four powers. When mind, body, emotions and energy come together then only the path to true devotion and knowledge opens.
Taking inspiration from this story, we can also use these four essential elements in life in one direction. The author says that if even one of these gets out of balance, you can deviate from your path. In the next lesson we will learn how we can balance these four through yoga.
6.Our body is a center of infinite power and possibilities because it is a part of the earth and the universe.
It is very difficult to understand that we are a part of the earth. Even when we came into our mother's womb as a fetus, we got life only from our mother's food and that food was given to us by Mother Earth. It is clear from this that from the beginning of our existence till our death we are connected to the earth.
Whenever there is a change in the earth or the environment around us, its effect is definitely seen on our body as well. The author, while narrating an incident from his life, says that once he hired a person named Chikkegowda to work in his fields. He was deaf and dumb but very hardworking. Once while working, he suddenly stopped working and started collecting all the things. When the author asked him, he told that rain was coming, the author was surprised that it rained in such clear weather, but following his advice, the author stopped working. . After a short while it actually started raining. Chikkegowda told the author that he can feel the change of weather in his body and it is true that every change that happens in this universe affects our body also. The author says that like Chikkegowda, we can also train our body to sense such changes.
7.Our intellectual knowledge sometimes becomes a hindrance in understanding the true meaning of life.
It is true that science has blessed human life with many gifts, but it is also true that science sometimes puts such a veil of knowledge over our eyes that it becomes difficult for us to understand some spiritual truths. Without delving into the depth of these spiritual mysteries, it is difficult for us to find true happiness in life.
A short story told in Greek explains this better. According to this story, once the great philosopher Aristotle was walking along the beach. It was a pleasant evening but he was lost in his own thoughts. . Then his eyes fell on a person who was trying to carve a hole in the sand with a spoon. Aristotle asked him with great surprise what he was doing, to which the man replied that he was digging a pit to fill the sea water. On hearing this, Aristotle started laughing and the person said that you are laughing at me, but you also think that all the knowledge of this universe will be contained in your brain, your brain is also a small pit in front of the universe. So who is more crazy among us? Aristotle was surprised to hear this. The person who dug the ditch with a spoon was none other than the philosopher Heraclitus.
So from this we can understand that science gives us knowledge but sometimes due to this knowledge we start considering ourselves supreme and forget that we are just a small part of this universe. We cannot achieve true happiness in life unless we consider ourselves a part of the universe.
8.Many places are sources of spiritual energy, where we can start our spiritual journey.
Many people consider the knowledge of spirituality as a secret path but it is not so, anyone can walk on this path, all that is needed is determination and faith. According to the author, there are many special places which are like sources of energy, by going there we can start the journey of our spirituality.
There are many such places on this earth where Yogis and great men had spent their last days. We can still feel their powers and flow of energy in the atmosphere there. One such place is Mount Kailash situated in Tibet, where in the atmosphere A strange spiritual power is felt. By visiting such places we can create the right balance of our energy, body and senses. We can begin this journey by feeling ourselves as a part of this Earth, separate from the crowd of the world.
The author says that there is a flow of mysterious energy at these places which not only increases our spirituality but also increases our knowledge and health. The author narrates an incident from his life and talks about how the Kailash Yatra improved his health. It was the year 2007 when the writer was admitted to the hospital due to deteriorating health. The doctor told him that he had cancer, malaria and thyroid together. To get relief from this, the writer went to Kailash and within a few days of reaching there, his health started improving. That's why the author says that we too can attain spirituality by balancing our body at such a place.
overall
The true happiness and enthusiasm of life resides within us. It depends on us how we turn our life, whether we can keep ourselves happy or remain unhappy by repeatedly touching the strings of pain. By controlling our body, mind and energy and visiting spiritual places, we can achieve inner happiness and peace.
Eat your food with full taste
The most important thing for peace in life is to live in the present, the best way for this is to enjoy your food while eating and feel the taste and flavor in your mouth. Leaving aside your first love or work at office or anything else about the future or past, your entire focus should be on eating.
